Scarf #13: Photo

Scarf#13: Photo

This lovely pink scarf was made out of donated organic cotton. Love this yarn! I might have to get some for myself! A very generous person donated about a half dozen skeins of this yarn to the operation. Thank you very much! You will be seeing more scarves like this one!

Cyber Monday

Hey Everyone:

I hope everyone is have a good day. For those of you doing Cyber Monday, go grab those bargains. For me, I did some Black Friday shopping in the craft stores, of course! I scored some really nice yarn at A.C Moore, Michaels and Jo-Anns. Enough to keep knitting along.

I will soon start the 20th scarf. Yay! Also, I just finished the NaNoWriMo one day early.

Whew, my fingers are tired.

Ugh! Post-Tday Blahs!

A little bit down on the weather this morning, but not completely down. I think all of the excess in the last few days have caught up to me. I normally don't eat half as much as I have eaten on Thursday and Friday.

Lots of tums!

Still knitting though. I just finished my 19th scarf. Yay! Now, back to the Tums:(

One Month!

I have survived the first month of the operation! I have even completed the 18th scarf! Yay!

Lots of knitting. I told my husband what I want for Christmas this year was one of those paraffin hand soak machines or something similar. While knitting for SnuggleWarmth, I have also embarked on the NaNoWriMo. The Nano is a competition where you write a 50,000 word novel in 30 days. Yup, I am officially nuts. And what is worse, I am doing well with both.

Yes, I am insane!

Day 29: 16th Scarf

The 16th scarf has just been completed, with the 17th in the works. More pictures are coming. I also would like to show you what else I am working on. Yes, I am crazy. There are other knitting projects besides SnuggleWarmth. I usually have 2-3 projects going on, including the scarf I am currently working on in SW. Knitters does that sound familiar. If you are a knithead you know what I mean.

red yarn. The brand is I Love This Yarn! It is one of my favorite brands. I made an afghan out of this very type of yarn. I had leftover from that project from which I made this scarf.

Day 16: Great Generosity

I would like to thank, on the behalf of SnuggleWarmth, the generosity of a certain individual, carolinagirl83. We are both members of Paperback Swap.Upon seeing my RAOK request for any type of yarn, she contact me and sent me some yarn. I was speechless upon opening the box! She sent me a box of dozen skeins of yarn, about half of which were unused! What an angel! I can't thank her enough for her generosity.

Thank you! It will be put to good use in the operation!

Day 13: 8th Scarf

Well, I am working on scarf #8. I'm doing pretty well with my goal so far, and I definitely don't want to jinx myself here, but I thought about branching out and making the first hat for the cause.

A few people have been so kind as to donate some yarn to me. I also have many bits and pieces here of my own. Could make some really funky hats with all of the different yarns, colors, and textures.

Hmmm... the possibilities!

Day 12: Scarf #7

Hello Everyone:

Hope everyone survived Halloween. We had 61 kids come to our door. I had prepared 60 bags of treats. We only had to scramble for treats for the final kid. Then, we put the "Ran out of candy" sign. Yup, just 90 minutes into the 2 1/2 hour trick or treat night. Might go 80 bags next year.

On the scarf front: I just finished #7. I bought some yarn Saturday. More scarfs!
