Clean the World Donation

I want to thank a few people that contributed to this donation:  Marci, Peggy, Amy, and Jennifer.  Thank you, gals, for helping me with this drive.  Be proud of your contribution and accept my sincere thanks for the help!:)

The first photo represents the bulk of the soaps, shampoos, conditioners, body wash, and lotions received.  Don't let its size fool you!  It weighs over 9 pounds!

The second photo is the breakdown of items: 11 body washes, 31 soaps, 19 shampoos, 23 conditioners, 11 body lotions. 95 items total!

The third photo shows the soap scraps I collected.  A whopping 6 pounds!

All told, I couldn't have been more pleased.  I dropped it off Friday, August 22th, at the Clean the World collection center in Vegas.  WOW.  15LBS of stuff. More than I expected.

Big Brothers Big Sisters Donation

Huge donation, consisting of over two dozen items including 6 children's workbooks, 5 sweaters, two pairs of shoes, board game, 5LBs of latch hook craft supplies, 1 latch hook kit, poly fil, and of course, scarves and hats!

Vietnam Veterans' Charity Donation

Whew, we cleaned out the closets.  Over 3 dozen clothing items were donated, in addition to 6 new scarves and 1 hat.

Too many clothing items to count! Still need to work on scarves!

Clean the World SnuggleWarmth Project

The Soap Drive is on!

SW is hosting a Soap Drive for the Clean the World project.  It will run from now until the 26th.  My modest goal is 5LBs of items, but I would prefer 2 or 3 times that.  Wish me well.  Let everyone know!
